Every mother desires what's best for her baby.
Breast milk is completely natural and perfectly balanced to suit your baby. It is easy for them to digest and contains antibodies which help support their growing immune system, helping avoid allergies like asthma and eczema, potential chest and ear infections or other diseases. It even contains fatty acids that help your baby's brain develop. Breastfeeding stimulates baby's intellectual and emotional development - breastfed babies learn faster and are more independent. If the mother has enough breast milk, it is recommended to extend breastfeeding exclusively until 6 months.
If your baby is exclusively breastfed, there is simply no need to give it extra water, even in very hot conditions. It is, of course, important to increase your own water intake and to nurse your baby frequently. There are certain circumstances where extra water might be a good idea - if a baby is constipated, for example, or has diarrhea. Natural mineral water would be best (especially with a certificate of the Institute of Mother and Child) or alternatively tea appropriately to age (e.g. chamomile tea from 1 month of age).
Why is breastfeeding good for you? Breastfeeding is the best, most convenient and cheapest way of feeding your baby. Breast milk is readily available, free and it's always at exactly the right temperature. Mothers who breastfeed reduce their risk of developing pre-menopausal breast and ovarian cancer and fractures from osteoporosis. Breastfeeding helps their uterus return more quickly to its pre-pregnancy size and might help lose any extra pounds they may have gained during pregnancy, helping them regain their figure more quickly
Breastfeeding on demand is ideal. It means that you feed your baby whenever it is hungry. Don't try to stick to a breastfeeding schedule in the early stages, just feed your baby on demand. A newborn baby usually sleeps about 3 hours after feeding. As the baby is getting older, it stays awake for longer and during that time the baby is calm and does not cry. Breastfeeding from one breast is effective for about 30 minutes. Offering the baby the same breast longer is just a caress. If the baby still seems hungry, the mother can offer the other side and let her baby have what it wants. She can then start from that second side at the next feeding time.
Though a mother may wish to breastfeed, there are circumstances when she cannot. There are also some cases where due to a mother's or child's disease or on account of insufficient amount of breast milk (the baby is crying all the time, does not sleep between feeding times, does not gain weight) the mother needs to use a commercially prepared infant formulas as a nutritious alternative to breast milk.
It belongs to use mixtures modified to artificial exclusively feeding for children so called initial 4 month of life ( to the end ) or for children from 5 month of life so called next. These mixtures are based on milk cow, but subject proper modification qualitative and name quantitative ( from there - milk modified ). For children, about propensity suspected allergic or available is modified mixtures with allergy diagnosed more else There is a strict rule: a baby under one-year-old should be drinking neither soy milk nor cow's milk.
You can add new nutrition products from the 5th month of age (for babies on commercial formulas) and from the 7th month of age (for breastfeed babies).
The order is the same for a baby fed with breast milk or formula. (add two months for breastfed baby!)
It is necessary to remember about it, that in spite of introduction feed variety, milk, porridge and pap plays important rolein diet of child still, which remain most important source of carbohydrate, proteins, vitamins and iron. We serve next milk to the end 12 month of life, mean " 2 ". After 12 month of life it belongs to change next milk on - " 2 " " 3 ".
